Leonard A. Blackshear Walkway Plaque
The Leonard A. Blackshear Plaque was added in 2006. The plaque reflects the Annapolis City Council’s Resolution, which names the area encompassing the Story Wall the Leonard A. Blackshear Walkway. The Walkway gives honor to the many years of work and dedication shown by Leonard’s visionary leadership and tireless efforts to promote racial harmony and African American Heritage, resulting in the Memorial.
