Artist, Denise Cabral
The
watercolor and pen and ink design includes a portrait of
the late Roots author, Alex Haley, superimposed
over a depiction of the Memorial, and the plaque honoring
Haley's ancestor, Kunta Kinte, which was installed at the
same site in 1981. The words on the plaque are visible in
the print. Each copy is hand numbered and signed by the
artist.
Prints
measure 16" x 20" framed, and 13.5" x 10.5"
unframed. Available unframed, unframed with mat, and framed
and matted. Choice of mat colors include Sand Beige, White,
or Black. Choice of frames include "Safari Embellishment,"
and the wood colors of oak, whitewash, and dark walnut.
