The Public is Cordially Invited to Attend The Dedication Ceremony of the Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Memorial June 12, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. for completion of Phase III of the Memorial located at the foot of the City Dock in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland Call the Foundation at 410-841-6920 Arrive early for pre-entertainment ceremony to begin at 10:15 a.m. The public is invited to attend an open house and reception immediately following the Dedication Ceremony at the Banneker-Douglass Museum from Noon to 3:00 p.m. (84 Franklin Street - within walking distance of the Ceremony Site at the City Dock) Park at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium and take the shuttle service to the City Dock -- additional shuttle buses will be running the day of the Dedication Ceremony!
